Commute to work in minutes

The three main hospitals of BCUHB are situated across North Wales at approximately 40 miles intervals and located just off the A55, which is the main expressway for North Wales, running from the M53 to Holyhead Port on Anglesey. Say goodbye to heavy inner city commuter traffic, and enjoy a breathtaking commute through along the coast and countryside of North Wales that will take you minutes (rather than hours), and give you more time to spend doing the things you love. Find a health centre in the heart of where you'd like to live using our interactive map below.

The best of both worlds

North Wales may appear remote, but it is incredibly well connected. Offering excellent commuter links to Snowdonia National Park on one side, to the cities of the North West of England on the other, you are never far from the hustle and bustle when (and if!) you need it. Chester and Liverpool are less than an hour’s drive away, and Manchester and Birmingham can be reached by car in under two hours. You can fly direct from Anglesey to Cardiff in just an hour.
